1 The Coffee shop will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays throughout August and closed all week from Monday 27 August. Normal opening recommences Monday 3 September
2 Taking advantage of this closure, Ventilation equipment will be installed in the kitchen on Monday 6 and Tuesday 7 August. Acoustic material will be installed in the coffee shop Monday 13 and Tuesday 14 or possibly the following week Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 August. We expect there will be less “echo” in the coffee shop and that the kitchen area will be cooler for the volunteer workers.

5 Also for pre-school children, Messy Play sessions will commence in the back hall on Monday 10 September 9.30-11.30
6 There will be an Alzheimers Society information meeting on Friday 7 September from 10am – 12 noon.
The Alzheimers Society works with anyone who is confused and forgetful, not just people with Alzheimers Disease. They will be here to provide information, help people to understand confusion, help people to find strategies to cope and to provide someone to talk to who understands. There are opportunities to meet other people in similar situations.
Staff will be on hand to help you. They can help with financial issues, carers’ assessments, as well as providing you with information and support. Carers and people with dementia can also meet up at this event and chat over coffee.
