So, you thought it was all over?
Not quite yet!
FECA would like to invite you to an evening indoor (and therefore dry) finale to
Cottenham’s Diamond Jubilee street party.
On Wednesday 19th September, from 7.30pm at the Community Centre, we will be
showing all of the photos taken on the day, plus the video footage of
the event. You’ll get the chance to sit on the wonderful throne again
and if you were at the Village Street party may receive a commemorative certificate.
A selection of bread, cheeses and cold meats will be served and wine
will be available to buy at the bar. We think it will be a lovely way to
round off the celebrations and give you all the chance to see things you
may have missed on the day.
Tickets for the evening cost £5 per person (to cover the cost of food
etc) and are available to you and your families in order that you can
enjoy the evening together. Tickets will be available from the coffee
shop from August or from Cambridge Building Society in High Street Cottenham.
