1 The CCC coffee shop’s First Birthday is on 9 Feb at 7.30pm in the coffee shop opposite the Co-Op. Do come along to the AGM that evening to hear all about and discuss the progress and planning for the future. Please tell your friends and invite them to come.
2 CCC membership renewal is due – please see the attached form – this can be sent to Steve Poole before the AGM or brought along to the AGM. Please encourage your friends to join – new potential members are warmly welcome to come to the AGM and/or join.
3 Tyrannochorus have kindly offered to hold a concert at CVC at 7.30pm on Friday 24 February to raise funds for Cottenham Community Centre. Tickets are available from the coffee shop or Jig’s newsagents (Shaun’s) – do get together a group of people and come along for a wonderful evening and help raise lots of money for CCC’s further development. Tickets cost £5 or £4 for children. (Please note this event will be held at Cottenham village College).
4 Following Dr Simon Poole’s talk at CCC about Mediterranean food and its health benefits last Autumn you will not want to miss the Cooking demo on Thursday 1 March. Tickets will be available at the coffee shop in early February. It will be a case of First come First served!
5 Dad’s play is now being held at Cottenham Community Centre on the second Saturday of each Month from 10—12. Do bring your little one along for a fun time.
6 CCC is liaising with FECA and the Parish council re an event for Queen’s Diamond Jubilee on 3 June – see attached. If you would like to help please do get in touch.
7 There will be a new Total Toning pregnancy class starting on Thursday 16 Feb at 7pm at CCC. The first class is free.
