The artwork is on display on Saturday 6 October  in the coffee shop – do come and have a look and find out about this exciting project to help build water availability and sanitation and buildings and resources.

3   Acoustic material has been installed in the coffee shop and thermostatic valves fitted to the radiators upstairs and in back kitchen and storeroom. There has been a dramatic difference to the noise level in the coffee shop – do pop in and hear the difference whilst enjoying your choice from the autumn menu or specials board. ARTS NIGHT: A small group of young-ish poets, musicians, storytellers, comedians, singers, photographers and artists have begun getting together to form a creative arts night and series of events at the CCC Coffee Shop. We aim to share original and borrowed material and collaborate in creating new works, as well as putting on quality performances and having quality conversations exploring issues of life and faith from a variety of perspectives. So far we have been looking at the connected themes of parenthood, youth and childhood, and we have used photography, original songs, a variety of cover versions (from Dylan to Bowie), re-written bible passages, poetry, short stories and more…..all are welcome, regardless of beliefs or talent!

Forthcoming Dates:

Sunday 14th October, 7:30 pm. Theme = tbc

MARRIAGE AND PARENTING COURSES: After the fantastic Marriage Course earlier in the year, we are looking to put on another course in the New Year. We are also hoping to put on two Parenting Courses, one for those with young children and one for those with teenagers. Please get in touch if these sound like the sort of courses you might be interested in either as a helper or attendee….
